As enrollment into the health insurance marketplace opened nationwide October 1, local Navigator organizations began offering free guidance to Mecklenburg County residents looking to obtain health insurance. At Legal Services of Southern Piedmont, we welcomed three Navigators onto our staff to help assist those in our community seeking meaningful access to healthcare, some for the first time.
