Partners in Justice. Legal Services of Southern Piedmont (LSSP)and Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) work together to provide a full range of legal services to a full range of clients. The Access to Justice Campaign provides an opportunity for the legal community in Mecklenburg County to partner with us financially to make sure access to justice is a reality.

Need for Financial Assistance. 2007/08 campaign chair, Tony Lathrop of Moore and Van Allen describes the need to provide financial assistance for legal services in Mecklenburg County in his letter to the Mecklenburg County Bar.

Thank you to those firms and individuals participating in the 2007/08 Campaign. Our goal for 2007/08 was to raise more than $360,000 from at least 600 attorneys in Mecklenburg County. To date the campaign has raised more than $385,000 in gifts and pledges.
