Arthur BartlettWestern North Carolina Low Income Taxpayer Clinic/Legal Services for the Eldery Attorney/Director

Bartlett earned a B.A. degree in political science and history from the University of Vermont in 1994 and a J.D. degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1997. Before joining LSSP in 2007, he worked in private law firms in Buffalo, New York, and Charlotte, specializing in ERISA and executive compensation. In addition to directing the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, Bartlett also supervises the activities of the Legal Services for the Elderly Project and HIV/AIDS Legal Assistance Project.

Bartlett’s work at LSSP provides him the opportunity to fulfill his personal mission of living a purposeful life by helping those in greatest need with the lawyering skills he so fortunately acquired. What he enjoys most about his role at LSSP is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in his clients’ lives. In his free time, Bartlett enjoys spending time with his family.
